An ideal day would include starting the day with a simple breakfast preparation, assisting with toileting. bathing and grooming. Encouraging an activity such as crocheting or gardening. Preparing a simple lunch, then assisting to bed for a nap. We are looking for a caregiver who has experience with dementia, transferring a patient from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to Walker, wheelchair to chair. We have several cats and three friendly dogs, a boxer, a chihuahua and a bichon frise.

I work primarily from home and looking for someone to assist at our home with our soon-to-be newborn. Work Schedule is very flexible, and potential to go to Monday-Friday. Seeking hands-on care near Grass Valley for my father in his 80s. He is weakened by existing health conditions including breathing and swallowing problems and recent hospitalization with flu and covid, and his beloved partner recently passed away, leaving him living alone without a caregiver. Some light tidying up would be involved, including keeping walkways clear of obstructions, tidying, changing bedding as needed, doing laundry as needed. He has a feeding peg tube and can feed himself and administer his own medications through the tube, but medications prompting and assistance may be helpful. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction, and helping him get stronger to take outside walks etc. using a walker or cane.
