Nanny - Long Term - In-home For Joyful Toddler In Downtown Puyallup

Part Time
Our girl is curious and full of joy. She does well with verbal and timer cues for transitions and loves to play inside and out and loves being creative. We follow flexible routines (not rigid schedules) and like to let her be part of decision making process on activities throughout the day. She currently takes one nap in the middle of the day and we feel she sleeps better when the house is quiet. She would need breakfast, lunch and a snack. We love having meals with C and enjoy making meal times a fun part of the day with conversations and music. Ideal caregiver: Someone who enjoys toddlers and being active. Someone who is attentive, detail oriented and willing to follow routines. Someone who doesn't mind 2 small dogs. Additional needs include: being comfortable with providing care in our home, a non-smoker, having a reliable car. Looking for care Tues/Wed (7:45am-4:30pm), long term Our family works on responsive/gentle parenting, mindfulness and talking through difficult behaviors We love art projects, getting outside (walking around the neighborhood or playing in the backyard) and getting down on the floor to play with C. We also value interactive time and try to keep screen time to a minimum each day (30 min). C currently loves reading, drawing, running, playing with balls (inside and out), playing peek a boo and going for walks. C is still in diapers. There is the potential for potty training support to be needed next year. At this time we are giving her access to the toilet and going with adult help but she's not required to go. Having some knowledge of baby sign language would be ideal. Experience with toddlers and patience as well as attention to detail in light house keeping throughout the day. Any background in Early Childhood Education would be wonderful as well. We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and have room to park in front of our house. We have two Shih Tzu dogs, Kilo and Cotton. That are energetic and loving. They can bark, but we do have the option to have them in our bedroom. And the backyard is fully enclosed so they can go outside whenever.
