About who needs care: I basically just need a person available to sit with her if she were to need something. And provide her a prepackaged medication at the designated time. She sleeps most of the day just started hospice last weekend. With the icy weather looking for someone to possibly closer than I to just be available if she were to need something. My brother and I are splitting the dutys. He works away from the home but I drive in 2 hrs everyday however Tuesday and Wednesday from like 8:00 am- 4 p.m. to cover my shift because of the bad weather. Looking for someone who would be close by and able to reach her if the road conditions worsen.
About the care needs: Someone calm, quiet could do other personal tasks on phone or computer . while sitting with her. Again she sleeps the majority of the day. She doesn't require any meal prep she has a snack that are free range and she can eat whatever and whenever but usually doesn't. See may need a bedside toilet emptied once in the stay but not usually.
Services needed include: companionship.
