About who needs care: My wife of 45yrs had a severe stroke in 2020 which has left her non-ambulatory. She cannot do anything for herself. However, she is alert and responsive. Very pleasant, patient, 70yr old pretty lady. We are currently caring for her at home 24/7 with a team of 3 caregivers. About the care needs: My wife is very friendly, kind, patient. She enjoys conversation and attentiveness. Caregiver can supplement therapy with stretches and simple activities. Eats orally. Meds only through gtube 4x per day. Receiving PT OT and ST with agency. Needs total personal care. We use Purewick external catheter system at night so evenings are very quiet. She sleeps 12hrs at night. 4-6 during day. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is female.

Need assistance with mobility to get husband in/out of wheelchair and car for drs. appointments. Will accompany on visit for appointments with spouse. This is a part-time job with scheduled times, but not on a weekly basis - more like occasional times.
