About Taylor

I started babysitting in high school and watched children ranging from less than a year to 5 years old. In my senior year of high school, I began tutoring at the pre-school in the special education classroom and joined a mentoring program at the elementary school. As part of the mentoring program, I had two children - one 5 years old in kindergarten, and the other 11 years old in 5th grade. I would meet with each of them separately at least twice a week. Sometimes we had fun activities to do, other times we would work on schoolwork they needed help with. After high school, I began working at a daycare and worked there for 2 1/2 years. I mainly worked with the Pre-k but spent a lot of time with the 3/4s and even more with the school-age class ranging from K-5th. There I made lesson plans, supervised play, and facilitated educational games and activities. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work in 2023 and have been working at a Foster Care agency for over a year.
