I am a mother, so I know how important it is to leave a part of your family with someone you trust, and that's what I think about whenever caring for someone else's loved one(s). Trust, safety, and comfortability are my promises to anyone I care for. I will protect, be there, and give attention to them as I would want anyone to treat someone or something I love as well. That said, I enjoy working with kids because they deserve the best in this world. They deserve to have someone that is there for them, someone they can count on, and unfortunately that can't always be the parents alone. However, sitters and caregivers are people that are extensions of the parent(s), that aid that child in every way they can to see the child succeed and be happy, and that's what I love to do. I started working with kids in high . Then while I was in college, I worked with the YMCA. This allowed me to learn a lot of techniques to allow a child to shine.
