Cats have been part of my life since childhood, very constant furry companions! Growing up I learned proper care of farm animals, and was responsible for 13 hunting dogs. We also had our own dog, and I have done pet sitting for family cats and dogs as well. With our cats I have found them much more content when they have companionship while we travel, and so understand the need to have a responsible and caring pet sitter. Currently I am also a pet/house sitter with references on another website, and do have a police background check. I am retired from a career in healthcare, and enjoy pet sits in various states.

Sharon made everything work. She took care of my cat during my summer vacation and she did tremendous job. She kept up with every detail and managed to build a relationship with my cat in a short period of time. She does understand that pet care is essentially an emotional work, and I rarely come across a pet sitter who understand this crucial aspect of the job. I did and will continue to reach out to her next time I am out of town.
