About Perla

I've been a child care provider since the age of 12 when I found my first nanny job with an 8-year-old. The next summer I found a family with three children. After that, I had a nanny job every summer and babysat year-round. I have experience in all ages from 6 months - 12 years old. Over the past 9 years I have cared for over 50 children across 18 families in my town. I am very open, genuine, and fun. I feel I give children confidence and the ability to express themselves. I am very independent and responsible. I have a certification in Wilderness First Responder. I have been an instructor on canoeing, hiking, and winter expeditions for ages 8-17 years olds. I helped the students become confident in their abilities and guided students to use their voice. I am fantastic under high-stress scenarios! I am serious! I am not a person who becomes speechless in situations where proactive decisions need to be made. I will snap into action immediately and problem solve.
