Hello! My goal in teaching is to find the perfect balance of learning and fun, because that will feed the child's love of learning. If your student needs one-on-one help, I can customize classes for them. Or let your student learn with friends in a group creative writing class. For the past 12 years I've been a homeschool mom and I love teaching other homeschooled students, as well as public and private school students. I currently teach Essentials in our Classical Conversations group, as well as a secondary weekly class to help with the Essentials assignments. I graduated from Purdue, where I got a Bachelor's Degree in English Professional Writing. Since then I've had the privilege of writing for the Post-Trib, a Chicago area newspaper. I have also taught writing, grammar, ESL, and general tutoring classes for elementary school students in various contexts. Some of my favorite things to do are read to my kids, hike the Appalachian Mountains, and enjoy time with friends!
