About Lisa

I'd describe my personality as understanding, creative, and dedicated. I like tutoring because I am able to help students at their own pace and come up with creative strategies for learning. I'm looking for a job that is consistent, long term, and reliable. I am a certified teacher working in Baltimore City. I currently teaching at the elementary level grades 2-5. I taught grades 6-8 ELA, 8th grade math, and 9th grade High School English 1. I am a certified special educator and teach students with high incidence learning disabilities like ADHD, Specific Learning Disability, and Intellectual Disabilities. In my spare time, I like to get outside and garden, hike, sail, go to the ocean. My skills include differentiating instruction, finding supportive processes, and adjusting the learning to address prerequisit learning needs.
