About Kayla

Hello there! My name is Kayla! I can't wait to meet you and your family!! Childhood development has been a passion of mine as long as I can remember! After spending my teenage years working and volunteering with younger kiddos, I got my first job professionally working in an ECE environment at 18! I've been working with kids 0-18 yrs of age off and on since then! While I have experience in a lot of childcare realms, my passion lies with GT, Twice-Exceptional, Special Needs, and Neurodivergent children. I recently worked as a teacher at a Care Farm. My dream is to build one of my own someday! Within my teaching philosophy, my central focus is always on explorative learning! How can we have so much fun learning we don't even know it's happening?! I also make sure to pack a heavy emphasis on social-emotional development whenever possible! In my personal life, I'm a very silly goose that loves to play outdoors as much as possible! I'm very family-oriented and a huge animal lover!
