Hello! I absolutely adore kids. I love to adventure, do crafts, and be outside. I love to play but also know how to get things done and am a very organized person. I graduated college with a Spanish degree but was an education major for a few years so I have experience with kids in school as well as in home. I am CPR certified with a recent retraining. My mother had been a home-nanny for many years and I grew up also helping with the babies as they turned into toddlers. I have spent many years babysitting all ages. I was an after school nanny for a 14-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy for 4 years. Katie took care of our girls for over a year (Ages 2&3 now). Katie is very responsible, always puts the care of our girls and family first. She was very loving to our girls. She is great at getting the kids out of the house - parks/beaches/even out to lunch. She loved getting the girls dressed/doing creative hair do's and playing. Katie is reliable and trustworthy driver. She helped potty train (on her own) both of our girls. Katie is Christian and our same faith; she reinforced our Christian values to the girls which was important to us. During COVID, we felt she put our family & girls health first. She was responsible, always understanding/respecting/adjusting to our expectations. She understood and took very seriously that her actions would impact our family, and was very responsible to keep herself healthy and everyone around her, including our family. We are sad (but supportive) for Katie to move away, otherwise she would still be with our family. She will be missed!
