About Julie

I have always enjoyed being with children and I consider my own two children to be my greatest achievement. I love seeing the world through the eyes of a child and providing wonderful experiences for them to learn from. I worked as a mother's helper at the age of 10 and as a babysitter throughout my life. I am familiar with children of all ages as I have worked in schools as a teacher's aide, taught an arts & crafts class for kids and volunteered with kids. As a mature adult, I am able to deal with any situation that may come up while caring for your children. I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, doing crafts and baking treats in the kitchen. I am happy to help out with light housekeeping, am comfortable with all kinds of pets (my son had lizards and a hedgehog) and can make a great mac & cheese. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. Both my BA and MA provided valuable training in psychology, art and expressive art therapy.
