Attentive interaction is important to me, and I enjoy playing with children while teaching them to be active, creative, and kind. I have worked with children from 6 weeks old to 15 years old, and have worked as a nanny, babysitter, gymnastics coach, volunteer childcare worker, nursery worker, and Sunday School teacher. I have taken over 20 hours of education classes at Indiana University Southeast. There are few things more important to me than loving and nurturing children. I frequently take children on trips to the library, park, and grocery store, to give them creative and educational experiences, as well as teach proper public behavior. A respectful environment is a top priority to me, and I can be very playful and friendly with children, but I also know how to be firm when there is work to be done. I relish opportunities to explain to children why good behavior and respect is important, so they understand why I give them instructions.
