About Jacklyn

Hello everyone, my name is Jacklyn! I have my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and have been a licensed kindergarten teacher for two years. However, I have 8 years of experience babysitting and working with children 6 months to 12 years old. I enjoy working with kids because I like to help them learn new things and grow into their own personalities. Every child is different so it is fun creating crafts and activities that each child will find engaging. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I also enjoy reading books, writing and painting. My skills include patience, allowing children time to complete an activity and giving them choices to make good decisions. Attentiveness, I make sure to know where every child is at all times. Lastly, involvement, I make sure to not only watch the kids but get to know what they like to play with or what they are interested in.
