I am an older woman who at one point in my life bred and raised Miniature Schnauzers - 2 females and 1 male. They were our pets and slept inside. They had a large fenced-in backyard to run and play in including a large dog house to shelter in. I learned to give them vaccinations and groom them. Now I have 2 cats who are my babies. I feed them homemade meat bars, which are just liver (chicken, beef or pork) or tuna and eggs whipped in a blender, baked like brownies, then cut into serving size pieces and frozen. They also get high quality dry cat food (no fillers or meat by-products), wheatgrass and catnip. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I can be available with short notice. I am also happy to help out with other things like cleaning, vet trips, etc.
