About Danette

Danette is a dream come true for any family lucky enough to have her. I agree that she is like Mary Poppins in the best way. Also, I confirm that she is extremely reliable such that we never had a day without childcare (!). Danette joined my family to care for my youngest from 6 months to 1.5 years. The best gift to me as a working parent was to have my child love their nanny to the point that some transitions back to me were difficult (given the strong affection that my youngest felt for Danette). Danette became a part of the family, staying with us weekly for much of the year. In addition, she decided that it would be fun to bring along the two older siblings (3 and 5) for trips around the area. Hence, all of my kids got to spend time with Danette and loved her. Just because, Danette surprised us all with treats including toys, fresh baked cookies, home grown vegetables, and plants. The list of wonderful experiences and stories goes on and on. All this said, I am sad that Danette is no longer an active part of our daily life. I am confident that whichever family she joins next will feel as fortunate as we do to have crossed paths!
