Hi! I'm Clare, a 23-year-old tutor who loves nature, animals, & music. I have been a straight-A student for almost all of my educational career & maintained great relationships with teachers. Being the person people go to for homework help & clarification on lessons was a natural role for me. I also have ADHD. If it weren't for attentive teachers, accessibility advocates, & understanding family, I'd have struggled a lot more. I know firsthand the obstacles that get in the way when a student wants to learn, but their style of thinking & environment doesn't cooperate. Through tutoring, I want to help students & their families stop the cycle of misunderstanding, missed assignments, & stress. Every student deserves a fair chance to do well & be proud of their work. In addition to going over material, asking deep questions, & practice, I believe that developing a positive & understanding relationship with students makes a big difference in their wellbeing in & outside of school.
