My experience working in a Rehabilitation hospital has helped me to be able to confidently transfer clients of varying sizes and stages of life. Hoyer lift, gait belt and slide board transfers are just a few ways I am able to assist. Bathing, toileting, light cleaning and errands are some things I am able to offer. I am comfortable and patient with all stages of dementia. Redirection, reassurance and companionship are some ways I am able to ease clients with this illness. I try to be flexible with hours, as I understand needs may shift daily.
