About Caitlyn

Hello, I am Caitlyn! :) I have had a passion for working with children for many years. I started babysitting when I was around the age of 11/12 and professionally started working with children after I finished high school. I have worked with all ages, birth-8th grade. Most of the time it has been younger children. I have worked with Columbus After School Program for eight years now and have had multiple positions working with preschool age to children of 6 weeks old. Currently I am a preschool para at one of our local elementary schools, I am also currently taking classes online through UNK for my Bachelors in Early Childhood Inclusive. Planning activities around children's interest is one of my favorite things to do. I feel they are more engaged when it peeks their interest. I myself am a very hands-on person and encourage children to be as well but not forcing them to be like that.
