Not only do I enjoy working with children of all ages, but I also enjoy working with individuals with special needs. My sophomore year of high school I was put into an FMD class at an elementary school to go and assist with instruction, and that's when I fell in love with working with special needs. I knew right then and there that this was what I was made to do. Throughout the rest of my high school career, I stayed in the program and got different experiences with the Special Needs classroom. I became very close to the class I was put in my senior year, and continued to volunteer at the elementary school after I graduated to help out in the classroom however I could. I then worked at the Dreams in Motion summer camp as a camp counselor. This gave me a whole new experience because I was now working with teens and adults. I have been working with a sweet little boy for over 2 years and am now looking for another job full time.
