Hi. My name is Amiya and I am a 21 years old senior psychology major at the glamorous Morgan State University! I am a hardworking, dedicated, reliable, patient dog mom. I currently have three years of experience. I started working with children at the age of 16. I interned at DePaul Catholic School through my high school, Cristo Rey Philadelphia, work - study program. At DePaul, I worked as a teacher assistant with children from the ages of 3 -8 years old. This is where I developed my love of working with children. This job included me assisting the children through breakfast and lunch, as well as assisting, promoting, and creating activities that help with character and educational development. Next I started working as a nanny for a 6-month-old precious baby boy. My job included feeding, playing, light tidying up, walks depending on the weather, watching educational television, etc. This is just the start of my journey with children and I'm look forward to telling you all about it!
