About who needs care: My mother has dementia. She struggles most with her memory. She is physical very healthy and likes to stay on her feet. She has gotten to a point where we no longer like her to use the stove to cook. She does love a good home cooked meal. She has a 'dementia dog" that is her world. Which she calls her baby. Hospice comes in twice a week to help give her a bathe and check vitals. My Mother is capable of using the restroom and dressing herself. She does occasionally need help if she's having a bad day. She does have medication she needs to be given with meals three times a day. She loves to walk outside and enjoy the weather. We do have to keep a close eye on her and try not to let her get outside alone so she doesn't get lost. About the care needs: We would like a person who can stay active. Do light house keeping. We do have a cleaning lady who comes in once a week to do heavy cleaning and do laundry. Light meal preps and cooking if desired. Administer medicines at meal time. Aid to getting her ready and in bed at night time. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
