We need hands-on care to take care of my loved one in Taylorsville. Some light tidying up is involved. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Responsibilities include feeding. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We might ask you to run errands now and then. We ask that you handle transportation as needed.

About who needs care: Vascular Dementia mid to later stages but very sweet and non combative. We mainly need someone to give her showers and help her change clothes. She can feed herself but needs someone to fix her meals while they're there. She eats easy stuff like sandwiches or heated frozen meals. About the care needs: Someone positive and outgoing who has experience dealing with this disease and is compassionate and patient. She moves very slow so patience is important. About who needs care: a certain amount of dementia. So far not real bad. Had polio as a young person. left him handicapped but hes able to get up and down and walk with the help of a walker. He can bathe himself. He can buy his own groceries. Washing clothes and light housework like vacuuming is negotiable but could mean a little higher payment to the caregiver.
