Looking for someone to help with housekeeping, yard work, errands, shopping, and all kinds of household help. My husband and I work full time and have a farm; we are stretched thin and looking for someone who is willing to do all kinds of different tasks from shampooing carpets to pharmacy pickup to pulling weeds and hauling trash. Yard work will require some physical fitness (i. e. pruning, cleanup, etc.) Must be comfortable with animals, esp. large dogs. Looking for 5-6 hours per week, schedule is flexible. Rate $10/hr for inside help, $15/hr for outside help, $10 + gas for errands.

About who needs care: Mom has Lupus, spondylosis, spinal stenosis arthritis limiting her mobility. She uses a walker. Mom needs company and meal preps. She likes reading, keeping up with current events. Jigsaw puzzles, word games and Tv- especially Chicago Fire and similar shows. Depending on how well she rest at night she may sleep in until 10 a.m. but usually up by 9:30. She showers then eats breakfast and does what activity her pain allows them sits and watches TV and/or browses social media. Her mind is sharp but age has slowed her memory. She snacks and by 2 if not before she will have lunch if hungry. If not will eat supper. I also have a dog that will need to go out about 3 times before someone else gets home. About the care needs: Someone patient, understanding and kind. Someone who enjoys talking/listening and enjoys quiet time also. Only skill preferred is ability to take blood pressure. If likes puzzles and reading and watching TV is a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
