Looking for a part-time personal care attendant. 2-3 days a week, days/hours are flexible but typically 9ish-2ish.. I'm 35 and have a spinal cord injury, resulting in quadriplegia. I live with my mom and currently have one full-time PCA. The job is hired through and paid requires an application, valid driver's license, completing a background check/fingerprints, and taking an online CNA course. You'll also need auto insurance to drive my van. Duties include bathing, personal hygiene, maintaining cleanliness of my bedroom/bathroom, basic activities of daily living, laundry, stretches and light exercise, occasional meal prep, transfers (Hoyer lift) and transportation for errands/doctors appointments in my wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Looking for personal care attendant for a 34-year-old paralyzed woman with a spinal cord injury located in Pascagoula. Hours are flexible, but will mostly be Sat/Sun/Wed (could have an extra 4th day if interested) between 8 or 9 a.m. until around 1 or 2 p.m. depending on the activities for that day. Aloha! We are looking for a fun loving, high energy care provider for our 3yr old. Me (mom) would be home during most of the allotted time with occasional errands. Our toddler is very high energy and needs one-on-one attention. This job does not include any housework or meal prep. We really need someone who can get on his level and play continuously. He LOVES imaginative play, cars, paw patrol and most typical toddler games. We have plenty to entertain him here, mom just needs some time to tend to baby and housework. We also live walkable distance to the park and beach. Our ideal candidate would be patient, loving and creative. Our household runs on a positive behavior system and positive reinforcement is key. Someone with this type of experience or experience with aba/special needs would be ideal.

He rides a stationary bike at home and just needs accountability to do it. He needs positive reinforcement to do the things at home the therapist have told him to do. Walk a loop in the house. Talk. Swallow. No tv. About the care needs: He likes someone funny. Upbeat. A lady has been helping but she is Ill. She gets him to talk about whatever. Hes funny. She has a schedule he does hen shes there as I mentioned some of it already. Sitting at the table to eat with him. Listening to music and other stuff besides tv. Happy person that laughs. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
