Full Time
About who needs care: My father has terminal cancer and is in hospice. My mother would like to have someone who could come to their home to help her with housework a couple times a week (dusting, vaccuuming, laundry, possibly taking her to a doctors appointment if the need arises when a family member is unavailable.) Ideally, if someone could dust furniture and vaccuum the floors twice a week and maybe carry the laundry basket to the laundry room for her and back up stairs, that would be great. My mother has severe rheumatoid arthritis, is currently using a walker because of joint issues which the doctor is working on treatment.
About the care needs: The caregiver must be patient, they don't move very fast. Easy to talk to, friendly (my Dad LOVES to talk!), someone who isn't super young (like 18-23). They don't need any specialized skills as hospice nurses and aids will be caring for Dad. No specific hobbies or interests
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
