Odd Jobs in Chadds Ford, PA

We just moved to Chadds Ford and are in need of some help with our home through August. We need someone who can do pretty much everything: -Cooking lunch and/or dinner -Packing kid lunches for next day -Grocery shopping -Laundry -General tidying, sweeping, mopping, bed-making -Assorted other errands in the area, like going to the hardware store -Doing some light planting in the front of the house -If needed, occasional babysitting. Our kids are all in a camp, but occasionally one of them is home for some reason. -Each day will look a bit different in terms of tasks. Basically, we're here with 3 kids and 2 jobs and are drowning in all the stuff that we need to take care of to get a household up and running! We'll guarantee the 12 hours a week whether you're busy or not and whether we're here or away.

We are looking for some part-time help for my children. We have a very happy home, and I am happily expecting my fifth child, but I am also wishing I had more hands and attention to give! I'd only need about 10-15 hours/week (flexible as to timing) so that I could run some errands, get some household tasks done, or go on a date night. Most of the help would not be with all four kids at once, unless it was a date night. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping, homework, or meal prep. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified.

I have two amazing little girls who need some extra help and supervision getting ready for school (pack snack, feed breakfast) and getting to the bus-stop on time. Once the kids are picked up for school, I could use help with various errands and light cleanup around the house (dishes in dishwasher, fold laundry, etc). Hours are flexible (but known in advance). I need someone who can commit through the school year at least! Pay is very competitive! Must be very reliable, have own transportation and be good with dogs (5 lb Yorkie).

About who needs care: I am actually 20 years old almost 21. I have duchenne muscular dystrophy and I have a desire to get out in the world, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. I have other aides to shower and do those things. I mostly need a companion. I have my own car and basically need someone to hang out with from like 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. And make food/go out to eat with. About the care needs: They should have a positive attitude and help get me out of the house. To have an open mind. Sometimes I can be frustrating so call me out so I can to fix that. Funny/easy going. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
