About who needs care: Currently she is mostly in a bed and needs diaper changes due to pureed diet. She is in route to get a new set of dentures due to a bad pair giving her a mouth ulcer. This is now healed and she is in treatment with a Podiatrist. Prior to this, she was using the toilet normally, with assistance to get from the bed/recliner to the wheelchair and to the bathroom. She does use a walker and an exercise bike for strengthening mobility. Her hobbies mostly now are watching TV but she was an equestrian and is an avid animal lover. We would need someone who could assist with helping her to and from the bed/recliner to the wheelchair, spot her when she is using her walker, meal prep (she feeds herself), potty breaks and/or diaper changes, bathing, dressing, running errands to the store/shopping. Her husband is in the home and helps as well, he is mobile but has cataracts and cannot drive. About the care needs: Someone who is down to earth, light-hearted, warm, caring and patient and attentive to her needs. Someone who is familiar with making/advising on meal prep for pureed foods would be nice. Hobbies and interests: Horses, Hallmark channel and a fan of Little House on the Prairie and Reba would be a plus. I have an 11 yr old boy who I would like someone to help with his school work and possibly tutor. I have a 6 yr old daughter who would needed guided through her school work. I have an energetic 2 yr old daughter that would need cared for. I would also like someone who is willing to clean, possibly run errands, and take the kids to parks and things of that nature.
