We are currently looking for just a few hours a week to have someone come and play with our son. I filled out the schedule with our preferred open times but we're pretty flexible and can work with you on when your availability is. Our sweet 9-year-old boy loves his golden retriever pup (Sunshine), active play (trampoline, sensory swing, etc), and playing on his computer. He also loves puns and is great at making them up himself! He's a sensitive soul (Autism Spectrum) and is slow to warm up, but once he does you'll see what a treasure he is. We'd love to find someone with some experience with autism, but mostly we're just looking for someone who is patient and understanding, and can work with us for awhile so our son can really build a rapport and establish trust. Our family likes playing outside in nature, being silly, ice cream, board games, and just being together. We're looking for 3-6 hours a week and are SUPER flexible on the timing. Our son is high energy, loves jumping on the trampoline, Minecraft, being a superhero. Part of his ASD means he has to wear headphones for loud noises, he has to move his body a lot, he has big feelings, and he has to wear diapers (the caregiver wouldn't need to change them, he only needs them changed about 2x/day and we would be the ones doing it). He's very sensitive and highly emotionally intelligent. He's really a joy to be around! We'd love to find someone with experience with kids on the spectrum or is willing to learn about it, patient, non-judgmental, high energy.
