Seeking hands-on care near Del Mar for my mother in her late 70's in late stages of Alzheimer's. Currently have 3 full time caretakers but need 1 more for Sundays and possibly 1 night a week. We really need someone that can also help when one of the other caretakers is sick or out of town etc. Someone who has a lot of experience with dementia patients because she gets very confused and needs help with daily grooming and she can be very stubborn at times. We are looking for a great babysitter for 3 children in San Diego. 2 are brother and sister and the 3rd is a close friend. Our kids have half days on Mondays so we need someone to pick them up at 12:30 in Kearny Mesa and bring them back to Scripps Ranch to a park or one of our houses. We are also looking for someone who is open to the potential of more days and hours depending on our schedule needs. Candidate must have a reliable car, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified.

I am looking for an experienced caregiver to provide in-home care for my wonderful 75-year-old wife, who has advanced cognitive impairment and limited mobility (she's in a wheelchair most of the time; she can walk a short distance with a walker). We are looking for 32-40 hours/week on weekdays, although we have some flexibility on days and hours. Our full-time live-in caregiver, who has been with us for one year, would provide support and training as you get to know my wife. We're looking for someone with multiple years of experience caring for people with dementia and limited mobility, and someone who can help with light housework while my wife and I have dinner. Our son has some impulse control difficulties. His preschool has recommended a 1-on-1 helper to shadow him throughout his day at school to help him keep his hands to himself to prevent injury to himself or other children. He is in a preschool. The helper will not be teaching, will not be minding the other kids, and doesn't need any Montessori background. A background in behavioral therapy or ABA would be helpful. Full immunizations are required by the school. Japanese speaking is a bonus as we are a bilingual English/Japanese family. We are hoping this is a short term need. Maybe even just a couple of weeks. If the full school schedule is not possible, we're flexible to something shorter like 9-2, etc. and are also looking for a couple of go-to babysitters we can use on an occasional basis once or twice a month.

It's a part time position for now but we are pretty flexible on days/times (can be everyday or some days of the week, can start at 9 or 10am, etc. Super flexible !).
