Seeking hands-on care in Castro Valley for my mother in her 80s. Weekly starting Tuesdays 8pm-12 a.m. After 2 weeks, will add Thursdays 6-10 p.m. No housekeeping. No cooking. Meals on wheels/snacks only. Supervise pm medication intake/swallow. Can stand but needs assist transferring bed to wheelchair & wheelchair to toilet/commode/higene. No lifting, but some days is weaker on one leg. Needs to be closely monitored while in wheelchair, sleep disorder. No other duties beyond providing basic assistance, monitoring, higene, social interaction, travel around the house and outside on wheelchair. May need sponge bath occasionally/not shower. Need caregiver who is comfortable with cats and also limited outdoor smoking . Note: Most evenings I (daughter) will be in/around the house doing other things, and/or sleeping. Mom is quiet and cooperative.

I currently have a 1-year-old, and am pregnant with baby number 2 due early August. Will need childcare when I go back to work, and likely during my maternity leave as well.
