I am a second-year student who lives on the campus. I am seeking Personal Care Assistants who are reliable, easy-going, and fun to help me on campus. I use a power wheelchair (and have a cute Black Lab service dog) as I am limited in strength due to a neuromuscular disorder. I have a variety of full or part-time shifts, 7 days a week. Hours are flexible with a consistent/advanced schedule. This is a great experience for Pre-Medicine, Nursing, OT, PT, and/or Disability Studies. I'm looking for assistance with dressing, grooming, bathrooming, meals, managing basic medical equipment, and light housecleaning. Must be able to lift 85 lbs, communicate, be reliable and timely, and have a valid driver's license. The job Pays $15. 25/hr. $16. 75/hr + $500 bonus with CPR certification.
