Seeking care for my mother in her 50s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, meal preparation, medication prompting, help staying physically active, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: nursing experience, support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be independent. Hard-headed woman who wants her independence, but is struggling. She loves movies, animals, and art related activities. She suffered from a brain aneurysm and stroke. She can walk, but slowly. She has a speech impediment and memory issues. I'm looking for someone who is patient, firm, fond of pets. Someone who will be nice yet firm with her. Do not let her get away with things. Needs to be okay with dogs.
