Midlothian family needs a part-time tutor for English, Foreign Language. I have two kids 4 and 9 and would love to get a passionate tutor to challenge them and encourage love of learning.

(9yrs old) is behind in math - We were homeschooling for the last couple of years and he was doing just fine - Totally on par for his grade/level, until middle of 3rd grade last year when his mommy was suddenly diagnosed with an aggressive blood cancer - was sent to a Hospital far from home and I had to take over her nursing baby - No more time for homeschooling and I had to send him to WA to stay til we got a handle on this critical situation- Needless to say, he started off 4th grade behind & needs help catching up. He's currently enrolled in a School since I'm still struggling to take care of his mommy and no time to homeschool- I'd like to start out on Saturdays (times are flexible) and work into additional days/evenings during the week if possible

Hello! I'm looking for a tutor for a 8-year-old little boy. The perfect match for our home is someone who is willing to have fun with homework, while also keeping him focused. A mix of challenges with laughter so that two hours of study time after school is not dreaded LOL. His current schedule includes reading time ( Please be willing to have fun and join in with reading, making it a exciting adventurous time and not just silent solo reading ). Followed by worksheets sent home daily and spelling words. He likes to use them in silly sentences or come up with clever rhymes to help with memorizing. We wrap up with learning based play time with a focus on STAAR test prep. We need someone who can commit to MONDAY through THURSDAY for two hours each day, the hours are completely flexible depending on your availability. If you're not able to tutor all four days, still feel free to reach out and perhaps we can work out a schedule that works for you. The pay is $15 per hour.
