Grocery Helper Jobs in Roanoke

Hello! I'm starting a job in January and will need help with a variety of tasks, which would include things like picking up my 2 kids from school/school activities, errands (grocery order pick-ups, returns, dry cleaning, etc.), light household chores (loading/unloading the dishwasher, laundry, wiping down counters, etc.). This is not a must, but would be a definite plus is someone was willing to cook (or at least start) dinner. The hours listed are the minimum I'll need, but am open to giving additional hours if desired. My boys are 15 and 12, so they are self sufficient with the exception of needing rides to/from places. We also have the sweetest shih tzu in the world, so a love for dogs is a nice plus as well. Both of my kids schools are less than 1. 5 miles from our house, so school pickups are easy. Our older girls are off at college.

I am looking for a daily housekeeper from 9am-1pm, for daily housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, option of grocery pickup and dry cleaning drop off and pickup.

Be there as needed for light house cleaning, possibly help with grocery shopping, cooking, transportation, companion, doctor visit here or there. I can provide the vehicle. Be there as needed. Would you entertain just being on call for things, having you on a weekly retainer even if you were inactive or I didn't have anything going, but to be there when needed. Very Flexible. Am having spine surgery in a few weeks would probably require more assistance during this period.

I specifically need someone to cook breakfast and dinner, grocery shop, and pick up around the house. Sweep, dust mop, keep kitchen clean after meals, put away dishes, keep pantry organized and refrigerator clean and organized. Basically just keep house tidy and do whatever needs to be done, looking for a team player. Flexible and gets along with kids. I have an 11, 15, and 19-year-old. They can watch themselves but if they need help with something I want you to be a yes person. Its an easy going household but we are in need of a cook to make well balanced healthy meals. Thats the biggest priority.

I'm looking for trustworthy and reliable companion care and errand running for my family friend who is in her 70's. She has Neuropathy, and generalized chronic pain and can no longer drive because of these conditions. Caregiver must have clean transportation (preferably a car that is easy for an elderly woman to get in and out of). Responsibilities include doing her grocery shipping, ironing, driving her to and from appointments, and errands, helping with cooking, and many other misc tasks (cleaning silver, helping organize etc.) We are searching for a caregiver with a very open schedule, able to come about 2 to 3 times a week for the foreseeable future.
