About who needs care: I am wanting a live-in caretaker to take care of my Dad's meals, laundry, grocery shopping, feeding and care for his dogs and bird. To be there for him as a companion. He is on hospice and has skilled nursing taking care of his bathing, dressing, medicine, etc. I just want someone there with him full time to oversee everything and to ensure at no time is my father home alone. He is stable but very immobile and has to be assisted from the bed to the bathroom to his recliner in the living room where he typically spends his day. Monday thru Sunday his first nurse comes in around 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to get him ready for the day. Monday thru Friday his second nurse comes around 12:30 p.m. to take him to the bathroom. Monday thru Sunday his third nurse comes in at 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to put him to bed. On Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. I have a caregiver there for to take him to the bathroom and make sure he is okay. He also has a Hospice nurse come by twice a week for a checkup. He is very alert, enjoys his family and sports, and loves to play dominoes! About the care needs: Would just love to have someone who could live there full-time, has a car and the ability to run errands such as grocery shopping and who is kindhearted and trustworthy. We would pay their room and board plus salary. I have a housekeeper and nursing staff to take care of my Father's personal care.
