I'm looking for someone to do light straightening and to help with cooking family meals. responsibilities would include grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning. Household help with laundry would be great. No deep cleaning needed - we have that covered - just cleanup from cooking and dinner.

About who needs care: Very sweet and timid lady. Friendly, has sense of humor. Has been suffering from dementia/Alzheimer's for about 2 years. Can walk dress her self. Goes to bathroom without assistance. Takes meds in am & pm with 1 additional at sunset for sundowners, gets more confused around that time. Does not attempt to venture out on her own. Eats fairly well but regularly needs encouragement to do so. Minor meal preparation breakfast lunch & dinner depending on shift. Occasionally overnite care would be requested. Sleeps through the night. Except for memory is in otherwise good health, walks almost daily. Likes to get out some. Go to movies, grocery store etc. Have both dog and cat at home. She's currently sharing my home and expect that to continue for some time. Just need someone to help with keeping her occupied until bedtime, usually somewhere around 9:00 p.m. give or take 1/2 hour. Non combative gentle sweet soul. Am looking to have 2 caregivers for separate shift as well as back up for each other. Occasional weekend shifts would be available as well. Currently have 1 caregiver who has been here for over 1 year. But my wife and I both work as well, mostly from home but cannot devote the attention during work hours to her that she needs.
