The main thing is keeping the children safe, while in an environment in which their creativity can blossom and they can learn and become happy, healthy, well mannered kids! Once childcare services are obtained, nannying will be limited to 3-4 days/month and also to help mom/dad when one of the parents are traveling. We have a 19-month-old that will occasionally be home (less than 5x/month). Our household is full of activities. The surrounding neighborhood (Anderson Creek Club) has opportunities for outdoor activities. We have two cats and a very friendly golden retriever (who requires just letting outside occasionally).
