About who needs care: My mother has Parkinsons disease and early stages of Parkinsons related dementia. She has neuropathy in her hands and feet so she is bed bound, and would need to be fed. She requires a daily bed bath, to be dressed, and would need brunch would need prepared and fed to her. My mother only likes to eat brunch and dinner, and I prepare dinner daily. She has a Purewick system, so the only diaper changes would be morning diaper change after bathing and if she has a bowel movement. She would need to do her daily physical therapy and have her meds given to her, which I have already separated.
About the care needs: I am just looking for someone kind and compassionate. Someone who doesnt mind having conversations with my mom and understand that she may not make sense all the time but she is still valid. My mom gets sad from time to time as my sister passed away in 2020. I don't really bring my sister up, but when my mom seems down, I will sit with her, turn a program on tv and talk about it with her. If you talk about your life with my mom, she would love it
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
