Acton Evening Child Care Jobs

Do you find it amusing when a 5yo asks a technology to fart over and over? Does building train tracks and digging in dirt with trucks sound like your vibe? Are you not freaked out by seizures and willing to be trained to administer emergency rescue medication? (so easy, even anxious parents can do it!) Then we might be the job for you! We are in search of a part time summer nanny for our 5yo son who has Dravet Syndrome, which for him manifests as a variety of seizure types (currently mostly nighttime seizures). We need someone committed to having fun with him while we work. Days of week can be flexible based on your and our needs with at least 1 week notice. 8yo is in camp during the day. We have a friendly 70 lb Lab. Parents wfh on separate floor of the house. Still COVID-cautious and up-to-date vaccinations are a must.

My 4-year-old son/ work and there is quite a commute. My schedule varies from having Thursday and Sunday off to Saturday and Sunday off. There are 2 Saturdays a month I will need help. Other than that, I'll need him picked up from preschool at 4-4:30 p.m. and taken home, fed and played with until I arrive.

Need help in the morning to get the kids ready for school and drop off to day care for my 4-year-old and nudging the 13-year-old to be out the door . Also looking for evening child care including pick up from day care.

Hi. My wife and I are looking for an experienced babysitter for tomorrow, Saturday, evening. We have three children - one boy and two girls. We have two cats who will be around, but not any trouble. Our toddler loves to climb and tumble and swing. He loves going to the playground and playing in the sandbox. When he's not being super active he loves playing trucks and doing dinosaur crafts. He is affectionate towards our cat Albus Dumblemeow, even if Albus would prefer to sleep in peace. We have a lovely yard for lots of outdoor fun. Our ideal caregiver: I'm hoping to find a caregiver who can keep up my nearly 3-year-old little boy. A person we can rely on who our son will grow to really love and look forward to spending time with. A person who is good at creative play and is patient. Additional needs include being comfortable with pets, having a reliable car, a non-smoker. We could use help with homework or curriculum assistance. Flexible start date.

Looking for after-school child care on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday. You would be responsible for picking up my 9-year-old daughter from school in Acton, taking her to after-school activities & tutoring, & caring for her until early evening. The specific schedule of activities & tutoring TBD soon. However, the hours where I am seeking assistance are: Mon. 3:00-6:30 pm; Tues. 3:00-6:30 pm; Wed. 12:30-5 pm; Every other Friday 3:00-6:00 p.m. In terms of additional hours, I will be traveling at least 1x/month for work. There may be evenings where I would ask you to stay later, if I am traveling home & will arrive after the usual end time. Also, if you're available for occasional weekend babysitting that would be a plus!

Looking for babysitter for an upcoming birthday night out (after we put 16m to bed). He usually sleeps without issue. Feel free to bring work with you or just relax and watch TV while we are out. Hoping this job will grow into an ongoing relationship. New to Acton and looking to establish one-off care or more regular part-time childcare (day and evenings).

About baby: sweet, curious, snuggly baby born in February. Great sleeper and on a good schedule. About our family: we are two moms who work full time. One mom works 100% from her home office. The other one splits her time working from home and her office. We have two older boys (9 & 11) who are with us half time - evenings & weekends. You may bump into them here and there, but your primary responsibility will be caring for the baby. We live right in the town center, so there are a lot of fun activities to do with baby within a couple minute walk - playgrounds, library, book store, ice cream shop, cafes, etc. About you: kind, flexible, communicative and organized. Option to live-in in our private guest space or live out. Would love extra help with housework related to the older boys. We have a big, goofy golden doodle. He will love you!
