Hi! I am a 4th grade teacher in NISD. Previously, I nannied throughout my student teaching year for an active family with two boys. I taught at a child development center for 4 years with age groups ranging from 3 months-6 years. I am looking for a family that needs a summer time nanny.

I currently work in my church nursery every Sunday, where I take care of children ages 6 months to 6 years old. Here I have to feed them, change diapers and watch over them as they play. I also help run a scout program where I watch over and help lead girls who are from ages 3 to 16 years old. This is where I have learned to handle taking care of many children at once. I help teach them different topics, assist them with crafts, and when we are overnights, I help get the ready for bed. I love going to work every Sunday and getting hugs and laughs with my little friends. And I miss my girls when I am away for college. While at college, I am studying wildlife conservation and I have help create the university's first robotics club. I currently do not drive, but working on changing that. I find some interest in most things that I do. I am trying to get more work so that I can pay for college tuition. And, I am excited to meet new people.

I am an active individual. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. Some hobbies of mine include hiking, running, playing at the dog park with my baby and I simply love being outside. I have always been around children. My mother had an in-home daycare for about 3 years, so I have experience with infants, toddlers and even school aged children. Alongside the daycare, I also provided care for children throughout high school, after school and during the summer. During my undergraduate studies, I worked at a Christian based daycare with 1 to 5-year-olds. I am very patient and love to have a good time. I do maintain a certain level of authority over children, but overall I try to create a fun and enthusiastic environment where children feel comfortable and trust me. I also enjoy working with disabled children as well.

I have worked in the caregiver profession since I was 18 years old, I am 24 now. I am a licensed CNA and I am also CPR certified as well. I have cared for people from newborn all the way to the age of 106. I took care of a baby girl and her special needs sister for a few years so children with special needs are not a problem at all. I was responsible for their eating times, doctors appointments and so on. I am very comfortable with handling different situations when it comes to care giving. I genuinely enjoy playing with children, reading to them and helping them with things such as homework if they are of an age that they require homework for school. I am also still a full-time student so my hours may be a bit strange but I am always flexible when I can be.

I am a registered nurse with 15 years of experience working with the elderly in various settings. I have been in areas of work that allowed me to use many forms of nursing from medication administration, wound treatment and managing the various stages of Alzheimer's disease. I feel comfortable working within various situations and lifestyles. Working closely with the aged and those who need assistance for any number of daily activities allows me to broaden my scope of practice thus allowing me to meet and help many people all the time. I look forward to working with the older generation and learning from them too.

I was a Substitute Teacher/Teacher Assistant with Special School district 2006 - January 2019. Prior to that, 2001-2004, I was full time. I have worked primarily with children with autism. I have accompanied students on community access on various outings to movies, malls, restaurants, and stores. At this time, I am seeking part-time, flexible hours M-F in the afternoons or evenings..
