She no longer cooks for herself so they must make her food. She does feed herself. She does dress herself. They will need to walk with her so she doesn't get lost. My dad is a kind, warm hearted man living with dementia. He forgets who people are but wont let you know. He will smile and have small talk as if you are apart of the family. He loves spending time in his garden. We need someone to look over him to ensure his safety. He doesn't cook anymore but needs to me reminded to eat or he will forget. Also he loves taking long walks but lately has begun to get lost. Someone is needed to keep a watchful eye on him. He lives with his wife. A caregiver is needed while she is at work. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who is warm and kind. Experience with dementia is preferred. Services needed include: companionship.

Seeking care for my mother in her 80s. Services needed: transportation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be pleasant, grouchy.She is very afraid of getting Covid 19, so the caregiver must be willing to wear a mask at ALL TIMES when with her. She can be pleasant but can also be grouchy at times. On good days, she is outgoing and funny. Medically and mentally she is fine, she really just needs some companionship. I'm looking for a senior caregiver who is patient, chatty. She doesn't have any pets. She doesn't cook, she likes to eat out a lot. She also doesn't have any hobbies, so a caregiver that can introduce her to and do some new hobbies with her would be great. Our mom loves to chat and tell funny stories. She use to love to shop but since Covid 19 she doesn't shop anymore. She does like to exercise (either light weights at home or walking outside - with her walker) and it would be helpful if the caregiver could help her be active everyday. She complains and worries a lot but her doctors all say she is doing well health wise, she just need some companionship to help not to feel so lonely.
