Our dad is 91-years old, has moderate dementia and is very hard of hearing. He is ambulatory with a walker but has balance issues. Caregiver will provide personal care. Typical duties would include toileting assistance, prompting to take meds, preparing or reheating meals/clean up after cooking, doing his laundry, changing clothing/daily grooming assistance, and generally keeping an eye on him to make sure he is safe in his home. Looking for multiple caregivers to fill multiple shifts: weekdays (3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and overnights 10 p.m. to 10 AM). LIVE-OUT. Weekend shifts also available including overnights. CPR/First Aid and COVID vaccinated/boosted preferred.

About who needs care: Meal preparation specifically someone who can cook I have plenty of food no desire to eat or cook. About the care needs: Yes the specialized skill I need is someone who can cook American food mac and cheese, casseroles, soups, meatloaf, a variety of just plain Foods Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.

About who needs care: My wife has dementia which is why we need help. She also has COPD. Her interest these days is watching television with emphasis on cooking shows. Although once a great cook, she no longer cooks at all. She does no housework. About the care needs: The person needs to have skills dealing with persons with dementia. My wife would probably do better with someone with even temperament and not too talkative. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
