Full Time
About who needs care: Lives alone in a one-story home. Has vertigo so needs monitoring for balance, falls. Does use a walker. Loves cats, has one indoor cat and feeds outdoor feral cats. Would need help with bathing and incontinence care. Also needs transportation for some appointments. Has adult children in the area who will visit and help with appointments. She does experience confusion but has not been diagnosed with dementia.
She is not very active. She is happy to sit in her sunroom and watch the birds/squirrels, some TV.
The caregiver would do some cooking for her, but she eats very little. Some house upkeep would be involved, but there is a house cleaner who comes regularly to do most of it.
About the care needs: Caregivers must be female. Must be able to help bathe her and care for incontinence, as well as do some cooking. Hobbies/interests are not important, but must be OK with having a cat in the house. They may need to help her get up and down and use her walker, but she is a very small woman.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
