We are looking for a Nanny (starting 9/8) that would be available to pick up our 6-year-old from a private school in South Boston and care for him until we are off at 5. We live in the South End. The school is about 2 miles from our house (10 minute drive). He would need to be picked up at 2:55. We would prefer someone who has a car to pick him up, but would also be fine with using public transport to bring him home. His step father is working from home until 5 pm, but we would need someone to keep K busy until he is off at 5. At some point his step father may be commuting into work and the hours may extend. Our son is a pretty easy going kid. You would just need to help him find a snack and play with him. He is in Kindergarten, so we aren't expecting too much homework. We do have one cat, but she is usually pretty shy.

She is very energetic and loves outdoor time at the playground, bubbles, chalk, backyard, and walks around town. Looking for a babysitter (or two) for occasional, primarily evening care for the nights out, both weekdays and weekends in our home. No regular schedule, but would like to meet some folks who would have availability a few nights per month to look after our two boys. Kids are just about to turn 6 months old, are generally very easygoing and unfussy, and sleep through the night (thank goodness!). Most of the time what we'll need is care in the evenings, either when they are already asleep, or just before bedtime, so care will likely involve getting ready for bed, bedtime bottle, etc. We are located just under a mile walk from the redline. We also have a medium-sized dog who takes a while to warm up to visitors--he would be crated or watched elsewhere during your stay. Covid-19 vaccination required.
