Michael has been so amazing to work with! He really listened to my input and was able to find me a family to interview with right after talking to me! I have worked with several agencies, and this by far, has been the best one.

Working for this company has and is a wonderful experience. One of the advantages of this position is its flexibility. Michael is very easy to work for. he is genuinely interested in you as a person. That makes me feel like he values having me on his team. You get to meet some wonderful families, & have had the opportunity to experience and learn from different cultures. This has been a great experience for me. I honestly have nothing bad to say about them I can not see myself leaving this job.anytime soon.
Working as an employee for Childcare Solutions has been overall, a positive experience. The flexibility of working a couple times a month for a little boost in cash flow is pretty nice. The families I have worked for have been very nice, and the homes are clean and well-behaved children. If I did ever have any issues with a placement, I know Childcare Solutions is flexible and considerate when they place and match caregivers to those in need of care. Also, knowing that they place care for and BackUp Solutions lets me know that there are plenty of families who I could be assigned to. The payment is very fast, usually same or next day. I have heard there are even ways for clients to leave a review of the caregivers. I enjoy my job and am thankful to work for such a flexible company.

Amanda - Thank you for your kind words. That first assignment we gave you from BackUp Care was confusing and we understand how it concerned you because it concerned us, too! Thank you for sticking with it and working so many jobs for BackUp Care families in Columbus through our program. Your families all love you and request you when the need arises. We're happy to have you as a member of our BackUp Care Team.

Childcare Solutions has been a wonderful company to work with. I have been a backup caregiver for over 5 years for them. It's been a pleasure to be affiliated with them. Before hiring me I gave them my resume. And they also require one to fill out a detailed form of my life's philosophy, experience, pertinent personal history and ability to communicate with children.
They get their clients through clients homes are nice and well maintained. The people I have worked with are exceptional ie; kind, thoughtful, caring parents....and the children are of course, great!
This has been an ideal job for me. I can work around my family's schedule hours so the time that I spend in my home is quality time. If I'm not available and they need a caregiver, I just let them know that I'm not available.
It's simple and straightforward.

Our interaction with this childcare company was extremely bad at multiple levels. I would not recommend it to anyone who cares about their children. The nanny provided to us was hired by this company from, just like any other person, with minimal experience who stole our valuables within first week of her work (of more than 300$). When we inquired her about this, she left the job after first week and the company owner defended her employee, that she cannot steal and that it happened due to our carelessness. The girl name was Amyah, and the owner Michael didn't take any responsibility of this whole incident. Also, the nanny called a day off on the first day of her work. We didn't even make any contract with the nanny (still figuring out the hours we need) and still the owner charged us non-refundable 1600$ Placement fee, based on 7% of nanny's yearly salary. He didn't even return money, until I emailed him multiple times. Later he returned 1200$, charging us 400$ for 1 week's service. Totally useless experience.
We hired a professional company only in hope of getting an experienced person, but he recommended us a girl who never drove a car before, not even owned a car.
In short, I must warn everyone to be wary, while working with this company, better stay away from them. I regret the day I contacted them.

Saira is, misrepresenting our interaction - just as she misrepresented her job to the nanny she hired. We did not 'provide' a nanny to Saira - she hired a nanny we referred to her - after the first nanny she wanted to hire turned the job down (for the same reasons the nanny she hired quit after one week). Despite repeated written requests for a detailed job description, Saira failed to provide one to the agency or the caregiver. She then kept telling the caregiver, who was working the 10 year in her care, to take on household tasks like the family's kitchen dishes. (Housekeeping was not part of anything she had verbally described as a responsibility. The straw that broke the camel's back was when Saira accused her care giver of stealing the 10 year old's 'GoPro' camera and demanding that we should cover the $400 cost. A GoPro camera is used for video capture of outdoor action. Saira had no evidence at all that her nanny stole the camera - she just chose to conclude that it was more likely an employee on their first week of work while trying to make a good impression was more likely to steal a camera than that her 10 year old son misplaced or lost the camera outside of their home. The nanny resigned and - as Saira has correctly mentioned - the agency refunded the placement fee - even when we had no obligation to do so. The only fee charged was for the temp days used by the family - and, as is our policy, we let Saira know that should she hire another caregiver referred by us, the temp fees would even be credited back against a future final fee.

The nanny Saira hired continues to do exemplary work for our client families - is specifically requested for BackUp Care from Work@Home families - and is a pleasure to work with.

And while we can't please everyone, We are proud of our history of referring over 10,000 caregivers to families in northeast Ohio since 1991.
