Hello! I am a registered nurse working crazy 12 hours shifts in need of help. I am able to drop them off at daycare in the mornings but in need of someone to pick them up and bring them to our home, feed them (I will prepare), and lay them down for bed. I work 3 shifts a week and occasional weekend 12 hour shifts (not required to do but will pay). My children are 6 and 1 soon to be 2. They are amazing children and the oldest has the super power of autism. We truly need an extended family member who is passionate as I am with my career. Pay is negotiable! Special needs experience is a plus but not required. Nurturing is definitely a requirement.

I would just need you to get my oldest son on the bus before and after school if I'm not home yet in the evening and then babysit our youngest for the rest of our work day. I'm not sure yet when I will be going in to work yet but I know it might be around 7/8 a.m. but I will be home around 4 I'm hoping. I will know specifics this Friday. Looking for a in home caregiver for my son. T is 19 yrs old, has rett syndrome, and nonverbal autism. He is however very vocal, he tends to laugh and make loud noises. He loves mickey mouse and being on the go. Looking for someone to assist with meal prep, help with adls and possible light house cleaning of his room. This will also require pull up changes. No lifting.

Summer care (FT; hours are somewhat flexible for appointments/vacations and will vary week to week depending on camps). The older, age 10 was born with Down syndrome and Autism. He loves reading, long walks, swinging, dancing, swimming, and sitting with a fidget toy, being his best self. He is fairly easy going, but is not potty trained and he is largely non-verbal. The younger, age 8, loves to talk, play sports & board games (did I mention he loves to talk?). The summer will be a mix of both boys at camp (where the sitter would be the older child's 1:1), the younger child at camp (we might need help with transportation), or both boys at home (the sitter would find ways to entertain them!). Ideal candidate will have experience with children with disabilities (willing to learn more), have a good car & be vaccinated.

We are looking for someone who can help us with after school care for our boys. The oldest, almost 10 was born with Down syndrome and Autism. He loves to read, sing, and dance. He is largely nonverbal, he is not potty trained, and he has lots of sensory needs. My younger son, age 7, loves to talk and will enjoy doing activities such as playing baseball, board games, and anything where he makes up the rules :) We need someone to get the kids off the bus and care for them after school for 2-5 days/week - 3:30-6:15. We often pay sitters to come early and do light housework if that works for you. We can be very flexible on which days and can accommodate schedules.

We would love for his companion to help him complete his daily chores, watch sports on TV, play games, work on puzzles, and show interest in his baseball card collection. Ideally, we need someone who understands the above diagnoses and the need for stability and structure. Change and new people are very difficult for him. Additional needs could include pick up / drop off at his group sessions, so a reliable car and clean driving record are a must.
