My daughter is in the end of her 8th grade year in middle school preparing to go into high school next year. She needs help with catching up with her math, ELA, and history on what she's learned plus help her as she goes into high school. The student has anxiety so she needs someone patient that can help her understand the material and reassure her as she's learning. Someone that is compassionate and understanding. It takes the student a little longer to understand math concepts, so patience is extremely important when working with this student. They also need assistance with reading comprehension and basic homework help. The student likes to learn by asking questions and by repetition. The student does better when face-to-face and one-on-one and does not do well in a group setting. The student can be flexible by being face-to-face online but does prefer being face-to-face in person. As stated in the previous portion, it's preferable that the tutoring is in person but can be flexible if online is needed from time to time or if there is a geographic need for the tutoring to be online. To get to our home you must drive or take a taxi or some other type of transport. Public transportation does not come down our street. We do have parking available within our driveway.

I and S are in 7th and 8th grade and are independent for getting up and ready for school and managing afternoon, but we live out of district and don't have access to the school bus. We live near Park in Lou, and the boys attend middle school in Jeffersonville. It is 6 miles and about 15 minutes door to door; will pay for one hour of your time for each leg. Louisville family needs a full-time tutor for second grade. We believe school will be online again and as parents we recognize we are not suitable teachers or facilitators of the online school work. Our daughter is in an immersion school, so teaching in English and Spanish would be amazing, but not required. We also are a socially distancing household.
